Pre-construction consultation was held in Boorowa, Rye Park and online. The information we covered is available below.

Construction updates via text message

In order to keep the community informed and prepared, we have implemented text message updates during construction to notify the community of any traffic impacts and significant works. We hope this will provide the community with some certainty and preparedness while construction is underway without having to actively seek out relevant information on the Project.

WEBINARS – RPWF construction information and Q&A

We held two live webinars on Friday 22 and Saturday 23 October.

The purpose of these sessions was to provide an overview of what to expect during construction, ask us questions about the delivery schedule of the Project and learn about how we will be keeping you informed throughout construction.

For prospective contractors, it was to learn about what employment opportunities there are onsite and offsite, ask questions of our delivery partners about supplying goods or services and learn about the key construction milestones.

You can watch back the webinars below.

Saturday 23 October - Webinar 2 recording

Hardcopy project fact sheets, maps, design drawings and feedback forms are available here. These documents will remain at the Rye Park Community Hall, where we will soon have a 'project shopfront'.

Feedback Form

Your feedback is important to us. While pre-construction consultation is over, we've kept this feedback form live.

FEEDBACK FORM

We will use your feedback to keep you informed during the construction phase of the Project.

Please note, it is important that you call us on 1800 WE TILT (938 458) if you have any questions or concerns as we commence and continue through construction. We will do our best to answer every call and where a call is missed, leave your name and number so we can call you back.

Employment Opportunities

We are committed to employing local people and buying local wherever possible. Construction also provides an economic boost for regional communities by increasing demand for local goods and services, such as accommodation, hotels, restaurants and cafes.

We have prepared a list of employment opportunities with our delivery partners, who we continue to provide with the Goods & Services Register for the Project. To augment opportunities for local businesses, the Rye Park Wind Farm has also been listed on the Industry Capability Network (ICN) Gateway.

Click through to our Onsite Employment page to view the list and to register interest in providing goods or services for the Project.
